Blanton-Nason-Brewer Hall will be closed for renovation during the 2007-2008 academic year.  Please check out the Residence Life website for information regarding renovation progress, revised floor plans, and proposed building amenities.

Dobson Hall, named after former University President William D. Dobson, is a co-ed hall, housing approximately 436 men and women.  This hall has community bathrooms for the residents.  Each spring, Dobson Hall sponsors “Squirrelfest,” an annual concert in which local bands perform to students.  It is an event open to the public and is held in front of Dobson Hall in the courtyard.  Also, Dobson Hall has its own student-run radio station in the hall.

Missouri Hall will reopened for fall 2007 as a fully renovated residential facility.  The building houses approximately 500 men and women with single-gender community bathrooms.  Common lounge areas cater to each community and connect the different wings in this building to help foster student interaction.  Laundry rooms are located on each floor for easy access by students, as well as kitchenettes, study rooms, and computer workstations.  The first floor of Missouri houses a dining hall, a multi-purpose room, and a private dining room.  Each room is air conditioned with heating and cooling controls fully accessible to the residents.

Missouri Hall is also home to Casa Hispanica, a Spanish-speaking immersion program, and Le Coin Français, a French-speaking immersion program.  The are located in the Romance Languages House, creating Truman’s first-ever multilingual residential group.
